Efficient Mixing for High-Quality Polymer Production

REWINZ double screw mixers are designed to deliver precise and homogeneous mixing of polymers and additives before extrusion. Typically installed upstream of the extruder, these mixers combine raw materials with diverse additives to produce pellets ready for end-use applications.

Through advanced engineering and optimized tool geometries, REWINZ double screw mixers achieve controlled, high-quality mixing while preventing unwanted heat buildup, preserving material integrity. Double screw mixers are widely used for plastic products such as HDPE (high-density polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), and other olefins.

Multimode double screw Mixer

REWINZ introduces the world’s first Multimode double screw Mixer, capable of producing both white (natural) and colored (black) polymer pellets in a single machine — eliminating the need for costly cleaning between grades.

Natural Mode:

• Powder and additives are discharged via the natural outlet
• Large outlet width prevents cross-contamination into the black section
• Screw flights in the transition section stop carbon black particles from entering the clean natural zone

Black Mode:

• The natural outlet is closed while carbon black is added and mixed via a dedicated tool set
• Material discharges through the black outlet without affecting natural-grade production

An optional bag filter with automatic differential pressure-controlled cleaning prevents overpressure in the product chamber, while all necessary instruments are housed in a user-friendly stainless-steel control cabinet.
